Benefit # 1. Use of Genuine Software via the Windows Rental Rights Agreement
Under the current Microsoft Licensing terms (OEM, Full Packaged Product, and Open License), there is no right to allow any third party other than the customer to use Microsoft software. This means that even after purchasing genuine Microsoft software, you will not legally be able to ‘rent-out’ the use of Microsoft software. However we understand that in an i-Café scenario, you do this regularly although you would be ‘in breach’ of your license agreement with Microsoft. To obtain this right to use the Microsoft Windows operating system and applications under this agreement, i-Café owners are required to purchase the relevant Microsoft Rental Rights SKUs being sold with this offer.
